Tree Planting with Metropolitan Cebu Water District

Pueblo de Oro Cebu in coordination with the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) took part in a Tree Planting activity last June 15, 2019 organized by ICCP Group Foundation, Inc. (IGFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of the ICCP Group. The activity, with the theme, “Plant today for a better tomorrow”, was led by IGFI Officer Bryan Yorong and involved over 30 employees and volunteers from PDO Cebu and MCWD, who planted 300 fruit-bearing trees in the mountainous slope of Pung- ol Sibugay, Cebu City. The activity will accelerate the reforestation needed in the area and significantly contribute to the development efforts of the LGU’s ecological program. IGFI will facilitate the maintenance and regular monitoring of the area to ensure that the trees flourish.
