As part of Pueblo de Oro’s continuing programs to create value for the communities and the environment it is situated in, Pueblo de Oro Batangas recently supported the municipal government and people of Sto. Tomas, Batangas by sponsoring the 7th Mahaguyog Festival.
Held annually in February, the Mahaguyog Festival is a weeklong special event coinciding with Sto. Tomas’ founding anniversary. The 11-day celebration was a series of mini-events that culminated in the highly anticipated Mardi Gras Street Dance Competition.
This year’s festivities were aimed at drumming up support for the advancement of Sto. Tomas from a municipality to a city as its economy continues to grow. Although still considered as an agricultural town, Sto. Tomas is also home to major industrial estates in the Southern Tagalog area, including Light Industry & Science Park III, which was developed by Pueblo de Oro’s sister company, Science Park of the Philippines.
Pueblo de Oro is in the forefront of addressing the need for quality house and lots in Batangas and outside Metro Manila.
