Pueblo de Oro Gears Up for Expansion

Our robust sales and increase in land values in the provinces where we are located reflect strong demand in the real estate sector. Prices in our projects in Cebu, Batangas, and Pampanga has had at least a ten percent annual growth in the last 5 years while land values in our Pueblo de Oro Township in Cagayan de Oro (CDO) is three times more valuable than when it was launched in 1996. Uptown Pueblo de Oro in Cagayan de Oro

Pueblo de Oro’s aggressive expansion plans shall of course start with its flagship project in CDO. The 360-hectare mixed- use Pueblo de Oro Township development in uptown CDO shall be expanded by an additional 50 hectares. The new area will consist of premium residential villages, affordable house and lot in CDO packages, commercial area, and a new town center.

Our latest projects will be located along the new Pueblo-Laguindingan road that is currently being constructed by DPWH as part of the government’s Build Build Build campaign. The new highway shall cut down travelling time from Uptown Pueblo de Oro to the Laguindingan airport from 1 hour to just 30 minutes by avoiding the traffic in the downtown area. This will further boost not only Pueblo de Oro’s residential demand but its attractiveness as a tourist and investment destination as well. Luzon Expansion

In Batangas, a 40-hectare townhouses and house and lot residential neighborhood will be constructed at the heart of Malvar as part of a 250-hectare integrated mixed-use property development called Malvar Cybergreen, which was developed by PODC’s sister company, Science Park of the Philippines, the largest and leading private industrial estate company in the country.

In Northern Luzon, our Pampanga communities’ value appreciated by 59% in just five years, and to answer the demand for more housing projects in San Fernando, we just recently launched La Aldea Fernandina II, a 1,251-unit, two-story townhouse subdivision. This residential development is just 2 km away from San Fernando NLEX exit and at the heart of the bustling metropolis.

Mid-rise Buildings on the Rise in Cebu

As Cebu’s population continue to grow, Pueblo’s projects in Mactan also continue to appreciate, and with a 54% price gain in just four years, we are constantly seeking to find solutions to proactively meet the rising property prices and strong demand for affordable housing.

To heed this demand, we will be offering mid-rise buildings within residential community developments in the coming years. This product line is more cost effective for residents as it allows them to live within the city and reduce transportation costs while still enjoying the quiet and secure living that residential subdivision living affords. The first mid-rise building community shall also be located within Mactan, which received another economic boost with the recent opening of the new wing of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
