Partnership with Pag-IBIG Key to Pueblo’s Growth
For 25 years now, Pueblo de Oro has successfully created a strong demand for affordable housing projects, particularly outside Metro Manila. We address the current huge housing backlog in the country by continuously expanding and improving our portfolio. Now, Pueblo de Oro’s properties cover over 500 hectares in thriving areas of Cebu, Pampanga, Laguna, Batangas, and Cagayan de Oro.
PDO’s strong growth in the recent years is attributed to its partnership with HDMF (Pag-IBIG) and largely credited to the Fund’s loan takeouts. In Cebu, 90 percent of our takeouts are with Pag- IBIG. Also, PDO has consistently been among the Top 5 Developers recognized by Pag-IBIG Fund in terms of takeout housing loan deliveries in the Visayas since 2014.
The Company is active in this region having developed residential projects like La Aldea Buena in 2004 and La Aldea del Rio in 2007 in Mactan, Cebu. It is currently offering two subdivisions, La Aldea del Mar and Park Place, which can be availed of through Pag-IBIG financing.
Last year, Pueblo de Oro Batangas was already recognized among the Top Ten Housing Developers in South Luzon during the Fund’s latest biannual Home Lending Accomplishment Report. PDO has a 26-hectare residential project in Sto. Tomas, Batangas which features three residential subdivisions.
More recently, Pueblo de Oro Cagayan de Oro was named among the Top Ten Housing Developers for 2018 during the Mindanao leg of Pag-IBIG’s Accomplishment Report. The Company was also awarded ‘Best in Conversion Performance’ for 2018. It is the first time that PDO was recognized by Pag-IBIG in Mindanao, where it owns and develops a 400-hectare township in Cagayan de Oro.
We remain optimistic in the coming years, and with the increase in Pag-IBIG accounts in our Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao projects, we will continue to strive to be the Gold Standard in community living.
